Our Lithophanes are all made using a light source behind a 3d printed image. The black and white images come out the best when the original image has a nice light background against a darker object, person or persons. Our coloured images come out best when the image is not flooded with lots of different light sources, light fairy lights for example, and also when not flooded with lots and lots of different colours.
We know that some times finding the perfect image isn't always easy, we know, we have tried, but don't worry, we are here to help. Using photoshop software we can make small adjustment to a photo to make it work better, like adjusting contrast, removing backgrounds etc. We recomend send a couple images to the above email address, where we can identify the best picture, make any adjustments and send you a mockup image of what you can expect.
